In December 1998 the magazine Northern Beaches Journal was launched by photographer Robbi Newman, designer Ken Gilroy and editor Peter Hock. A high end, freeform art style product that defied the rules of conventional magazine design. It refelected and showcased the unique creative, and inspirational talents that reside on Sydney's Palm Beach Peninsula. A distinctive and special niche of Australias coastal living.
Australian Himalayan & World Expeditions

In the late 80's and early 90's we indulged in the magic of adventure travel and photography for Australian Himalayan Expeditions and later World Expeditions. Early expeditions were captured documentary style, with groups of adventurers in locations like India, Nepal, Kashmir, the Maldives and many other remote locations.
"Initially I became a leading photographer for Australian Himalayan Expeditions and would travel the globe covering their adventure travel destinations. From a small company specialising in the Himalayas they soon grew into the leading tour company in this market as World Expeditions. I convinced them to change the formulae from image capture of tour groups to instead shoot as a job and hike or hit destinations with a small team of models and crew"
